Start 2024 by discovering something new; for just $1!
Amarillo, TX
Wildcat Bluff Discovery Center has its trails open from sunrise to sunset year-round, but will only charge $1 admission all day on January 27. Visitors who visit outside of WBDC’s office hours are asked to place their admission fee in the Dropbox located next to the Visitor Center’s entrance or to use the QR codes located at the trailhead or bulletin board to pay digitally.
The Discovery Center Collective (DCC) hosts Discover for a Dollar programming four times throughout the year. The opportunity to explore DHDC or hike WBDC’s trails for just $1 allows low-income families to make new memories together at an affordable price. The program is also in line with the DCC’s mission to spark curiosity for learners across the high plains and to create equitable access to informal education for all.
No reservations are required for this program. Members’ admission is included in membership fees already paid.
Follow DHDC and WBDC on Facebook and Instagram or visit DiscoveryCenterCollective.org for more information on their community programs.
